For the upcoming 100th season of Chicago Blackhawks hockey, the team will wear specially designed red sweaters for every home game at the United Center.
Those sweaters were unveiled Friday morning by the team, with some unique twists added to an overall look that has been a staple of the Blackhawks’ on-ice look for decades.

A vintage lace-up collar that brings a new twist to the original 1955 red jersey alongside a scripted “Always an Original” message tucked inside, a mash up of elements that both honor the past and look toward the future of changing the game.

Per the team’s statement, these sweaters will be “made in very limited quantities for one season only,” and the official Blackhawks website is accepting preorders as of this writing on Friday morning. Fans who participate in this preorder will also receive a commemorative puck celebrating the team’s centennial season, with the anticipated delivery being in late September 2025.
