Blackhawks vs. Bruins Preview 2017: Darling gets start in Boston

The Chicago Blackhawks visit the Boston Bruins on Friday night at TD Garden as look for their second win on the road of 2017.

Chicago is coming off of a huge 6-4 comeback victory in Colorado on Tuesday night, while Boston is coming off back-to-back losses. Their win over the Avs allowed the Blackhawks to remain within two points for the top spot in the Central Division, behind the Minnesota Wild.

The Bruins sit in third in the Atlantic Division, tied with the Senators with 52 points. 23-19-6 record.

With Corey Crawford allowing 15 goals in his last four games, Scott Darling will get the start for Chicago. Darling is 11-4-2 with a 2.34 goals-against average and .924 save percentage in his 20 games this season.

Tuukka Rask will likely get the nod for the Bruins. In Rask’s 37 starts this season, he boasts a 22-10-4 record and .919 save percentage. His 2.11 goals-against average is good for fifth in the league.
