Blackhawks vs. Canucks preview 2017: Start time and schedule
Marian Hossa will play after missing the last two games.
Marian Hossa will return to the lineup after missing the last two games due to lower-body injury when the Chicago Blackhawks continue their three-game homestand against the Vancouver Canucks.
Hossa returns to the right-wing third line role alongside center Marcus Kruger and rookie Ryan Hartman. Hossa has scored a goal in each of the previous two games against the Canucks this season, including the overtime winner Nov. 19. Defenseman Johnny Oduya, who was rested against Colorado on Sunday, will also play.
The Blackhawks will look for a season series sweep against the Canucks. Chicago has outscored Vancouver 8-5 in two meetings with four goals in each contest.
Chicago sits one point shy of 100 points and is seven points clear of the Minnesota Wild for the Central Division and Western Conference lead.
The Canucks (28-43-9) enter the season series finale against the Hawks on a six-game losing streak. Vancouver’s recent slid puts them in sixth place in the Pacific Division.
Corey Crawford will start in net for the Hawks. Crawford holds a 29-15-3 record on the season, with a 2.49 goals-against average and .921 save percentage. He sat out Sunday’s game against Colorado.
Ryan Miller will be between the pipes for the Canucks. In 46 games this season, Miller holds a 17-22-6 record, with a 2.76 GAA and .915 save percentage.
