Blackhawks vs. Ducks live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch Black Friday hockey

As a big chunk of America shops for holiday gifts on Black Friday, the Chicago Blackhawks will take on the Anaheim Ducks in a special afternoon matchup. The game at Honda Center is a rare matinee treat, and the perfect way to entertain yourself while slowly digesting that Thanksgiving feast.

Chicago had gotten mixed results on the latest Circus Trip, which had a wrench thrown in it with the injury to Jonathan Toews. The team has said it’s not serious and he won’t be out long-term, but it’s still possible that he’s sidelined Friday afternoon in southern California.

This game is being broadcast on CSN Chicago and NHL Network in the United States, so it will be live streamed online by the former. You can find that stream here, although access requires a subscription to a cable or satellite provider, so it’s not quite the blessing to cord cutters that it could be in the future.

This is an especially interesting game for the Blackhawks given the time of day, and it’s not a bad excuse to start drinking in the afternoon again, and how many times do you get to do that twice in a row?

Here’s how to catch Blackhawks vs. Ducks online

Time: 3 p.m. CT

Live Stream: NBC Sports Live
