Coming into this one against the Kings, it was expected that there would be a playoff-type atmosphere at Staples Center. That appears to be the case, as we’ve got a great one going on the West Coast. While the Hawks were unable to add to their lead, the Kings were able to even things up at two, courtesy of (who else?) Jeff Carter, on the power play. The Hawks closed the second period with a strong, and crucial, penalty kill. Can they carry that momentum over into the final period?
