Three goals from three defenseman got the Blackhawks out to a hot start tonight at home against the San Jose Sharks. Trevor van Riemsdyk potted his first career goal to open the scoring, Brent Seabrook scored the second goal a few minutes later, and Niklas Hjalmarsson scored just 24 seconds after Seabrook to get the 'Hawks off to a 3-0 lead. A Joe Pavelski re-direct got the Sharks on the board, and the score sits at 3-1 after the first period. Let's hope the offense keeps going in the second.
