The Chicago Blackhawks earned their second win of a four-game home stand with a 3-1 victory over the Dallas Stars Sunday night.
With a scoreless first period, the Stars got on the board first with a tally from Devin Shore at 1:25 in the second. Just 52 seconds after Shore’s goal, Marian Hossa kept the Hawks in it putting the puck through Kari Lehtonen’s five-hole to tie the game at 1-1.
Artem Anisimov’s 12th goal of the season, along with a beauty one-timer from Artemi Panarin put Chicago ahead by two, as they managed to hold on for the win at home.
Scott Darling continued to shine Sunday night, saving 23 of the 24 shots he faced, to earn a .958 save percentage of the night.
Turning point
Marian Hossa’s 15th goal of the season turned the game around for the Hawks, tying the game, 1-1, less than a minute after the Stars took the lead. Hossa now has 21 points in 28 games this season.

Artemi Panarin’s incredible one-timer on the power play added to Chicago’s lead, putting them ahead by two with 10 minutes remaining in regulation. The Bread Man’s tally was his 11th goal of the year, giving him 24 points on the season.
