The Chicago Blackhawks visit Minnesota Tuesday night as they look for their second straight win against the Wild.
The Hawks and Wild have met twice so far this season, with both teams’ earning a win each. The two Central Division teams last met on February 8th, which saw Chicago come out on top with a 4-3 overtime win, marking the Blackhawks first win against the Wild since February 3rd, 2015.
Chicago has won six of their last seven games, and look to tighten the gap in the Central Division standings, as they currently sit seven points behind Minnesota. The Hawks now have a 36-18-5 record on the season, while the Wild sit with a 39-13-6 record.
Corey Crawford is likely to start in net for the Blackhawks Tuesday night. Crawford started in the Hawks OT win over the Wild on February 8th, stopping 35 of the 38 shots he faced. In his 38 games played this season, Crawford has a 22-13-3 record on the season, with a 2.56 goals-against average and .917 save percentage.
Devan Dubnyk will likely start in the crease for Minnesota. Dubnyk has been fantastic so far this season, leading the league in wins with 32, goals-against average with 1.97 goals-against average, and save percentage with .934.
