Blackhawks 2017-18 season-ending press conference

Following a disappointing 2017-18 NHL season, the Chicago Blackhawks front office and players all met with the media on Monday morning to recap everything that happened in the last six months, culminating with the Hawks missing the playoffs for the first time in a decade.

It was a disappointing winter for the Blackhawks, who entered the season with expectations of erasing the bitter Stanley Cup Playoffs sweep that ended the 2017 season, but instead missed the postseason altogether. Injuries played a key role, most notably the upper-body injury that kept goaltender Corey Crawford on the shelf for the second half of the season.

We’ll update all morning long as general manager Stan Bowman, head coach Joel Quenneville and a slew of players are expected to take to the podium for the final time this season.
