Happy New Year! This is the January 2020 installment of the Second City Hockey community survey. As a reminder, we will be publishing monthly opportunities for Blackhawks fans to participate in surveys that will measure the confidence fans have in the direction the team is taking, the coaching staff and front office decisions.

Roster Updates
- Forward Andrew Shaw was placed on Injured Reserve (IR) with a concussion.
- Defenseman Ian McCoshen was re-assigned to the AHL.
- Defenseman Dennis Gilbert was recalled from the AHL.
- Forward Anton Wedin was re-assigned to the AHL.
- Forward Dylan Sikura was recalled from the AHL.
- Forward Matthew Highmore was recalled from the AHL.
- Defenseman Adam Boqvist was recalled from the AHL.
- Defensemen Calvin de Haan and Brent Seabrook were placed on long-term IR and will be out for the remainder of the season.
- Forward Brandon Saad was placed on IR with a right ankle injury.
- Forward John Quenneville was recalled from the AHL. /
