Blackhawks goalie updates: Anton Forsberg’s done, Collin Delia’s OK, Jean-Francois Berube’s back
The revolving door in the Blackhawks net continues.
Lost in the madness surrounding the Chicago Blackhawks’ 6-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night and the Scott Foster saga that unfolded at the end of it, the Hawks had to do another round of moves with their goaltender depth chart at both the NHL and AHL levels.
Anton Forsberg, who was supposed to make the start against Winnipeg, is likely out for the season with a lower-body injury, as coach Joel Quenneville told the media after the game. And it wasn’t during the usual pregame soccer routine that Forsberg got hurt:
Q said it wasn't in the soccer game that Forsberg was hurt, but during his usual "pregame ritual."

About the way it’s gone for Blackhawks goalies this season, isn’t it?
The good news is that Collin Delia is likely okay, as Quenneville told the media that Delia was dealing with cramps in the third period of his NHL debut.
With Forsberg out, though, the Hawks still needed a second goalie for their trip out west to face the Colorado Avalanche on Friday night. And to solve that problem, Jean-Francois Berube was recalled from the Rockford IceHogs.

Berube and Delia will be Chicago’s goalies, while Jeff Glass and the recently-promoted Matt Tompkins will handle things in Rockford, as the IceHogs continue to fight for a playoff spot.
No word yet on whether or not Foster’s boss at his accounting firm would allow him the day off to travel with the Hawks to Colorado. Just in case.
(Please don’t take that last paragraph seriously.)
