The Blackhawks will miss the playoffs for a third consecutive season, according to EA Sports “NHL 20” season simulation.
The video game has the Blackhawks finishing with 88 points in 11th place in the Western Conference for the 12th-best lottery odds at winning the first overall pick in the NHL draft lottery for a second straight year.
The Golden Knights finished atop the Pacific Division and the West with 102 points ahead of the Central Division champion Avalanche at 101 points. The Lightning also claimed the Presidents’ Trophy for a second straight year with 109 points.
