The twelfth day of the Chicago Blackhawks’ 2021 training camp saw a pair of young defensemen sidelined by injuries.

Wyatt Kalynuk, who was injured during Tuesday’s practice, will reportedly miss 2-4 weeks according to a statement released by the team:

Elsewhere on the blue line, Caleb Jones missed Wednesday’s practice with left wrist soreness. No timetable was given for his potential return. With Kalynuk and Caleb Jones out, Ian Mitchell and Jakub Galvas rotated into the practice group that’s starting to look more and more like the roster which will be on the ice for the season opener in one week:
