Choose Your Fate: Blackhawks at Blues Preseason Preview

The tail end of a preseason weekend back-to-back.

A busy preseason weekend continues with the Blackhawks heading southwest down I-55 on Saturday night for their first look at the St. Louis Blues.

The Blackhawks are coming off of a 2-0 loss on the road to the Detroit Red Wings on Friday night and followed up that result with a round of roster cuts on Saturday morning:

Still plenty of intriguing names to watch on the ice for the Blackhawks in this game, though, while the presumed No. 1 option in net for the upcoming season will get his first full 60 of the preseason:

Taylor Hall returns to the ice after receiving a “maintenance day” off on Friday while intriguing youngsters among the forward group include Colton Dach, Samuel Savoie, Landon Slaggert and Frank Nazar. On the blue line, Kevin Korchinski will continue to draw eyes until his fate for the start of the season is determined and several other likely future IceHogs will skate alongside him, including Ethan Del Mastro, Isaak Phillips and Nolan Allan.
