Watch: Chris Kunitz scores first goal with Blackhawks

Chris Kunitz scored his first goal with the Blackhawks against his former team — the Penguins — on Sunday night at PPG Paints Arena.

Kunitz took a backhanded pass from Marcus Kruger and sent the puck pass Casey DeSmith to level the game 2-2 in the second period.

It was a special night for Kunitz as the Penguins honored him along with other members of their 2009 Stanley Cup championship team.

Kunitz won two more Stanley Cup championships with the Penguins in 2016 and 2017. He also won the Stanley Cup in 2007 with the Ducks. After his time in Pittsburgh, Kunitz played one season with the Lightning before signing with the Blackhawks last July. He has one goal and two assists in 23 games with Chicago.
