The 2013 Stanley Cup team member is returning to Slovakia.

Michal Handzus is lacing up his skates once again.

The former Chicago Blackhawks forward is returning to his native Slovakia to play with Banska Bystrica, of the Slovakian Extraliga, the team announced Tuesday.

Handzus, 39, scored 16 points in 59 regular season games, and three points in 19 playoff contests last season for the Blackhawks. In two seasons with Chicago, he recorded 30 points (8G, 22A) in 78 games.
