IceHogs Return To Action Versus The Chicago Wolves Tonight

Tonight is already the 6th meeting of the season between the Hogs and the Wolves. Rockford is 1-4-0-1 against Chicago this year. If the playoffs were to start today both teams would be on the outside looking in. The IceHogs have 32 points, which is just 2 points less than the first place Grand Rapids Griffins in the Midwest Division, but are 9th in the Western Conference. The Wolves enter tonight’s game with 30 points, which puts them in 3rd place in the division and 11th in the conference standings. The standings are very tight in West, only 7 points separate the 1st place Charlotte Checkers and the 8th place Oklahoma City Barons, who also have 32 points. Not much can said about these AHL division rivals that hasn’t been said dozens of times before, so feast your eyes on some stats!
