If Jonathan Toews is out of shape, what does that make the rest of us?

Jonathan Toews‘ off-season may have begun a little earlier than any of us wanted it to, but that doesn’t mean the Chicago Blackhawks‘ captain shouldn’t stay busy. After all, there’s still next season to look forward to – and maybe the extra rest can do the weary Hawks some good.

… Or motivate them to try new things. Or go even further, if that’s possible.

Take, for example, Toews’ attempts at diversifying his off-season plans.

Listen, I understand hot yoga can be really hardcore, but to take out somebody of Toews’ caliber…? That’s a whole new level of terrifying I’m uncertain to be a part of.

Seriously, if Toews is calling himself out of shape, what does that mean for the rest of us? Because he’s literally one of the best hockey players in the world, and he’s a guy who’s hyper-focused on his body and taking care of it to an extent most of us probably can’t even dream about.

I’m afraid of hot yoga now.
