Jonathan Toews, Corey Crawford finally back in Chicago
After a successful World Cup, it's time to work towards a successful NHL season.
Jonathan Toews and Corey Crawford are champions.
That’s a vague statement if there ever was one, though. Most recently, they're World Cup champions with Team Canada; more meaningfully to Chicago, they're Stanley Cup champions. Multiple times, in fact. It's been pretty awesome.
Soon, the 2016-17 NHL season will officially be underway, with the Chicago Blackhawks looking to once again contend for the Cup. Even better, they'll have Toews and Crawford to do it.
That was a given, but now it's official: after roughly a month of tournament action, from training camps to trophy hoisting, Toews and Crawford are back in town.
And not a moment too soon! The Blackhawks have just two preseason games left, and the season opener is just over a week away on Oct. 12.
Here's to Toews and Crawford replicating their success with the rest of their Chicago teammates over the coming year!
