As the Vancouver Canucks proved last night by spoiling the series win on home ice for our Men of Four Feathers, every story needs to have a villain, and there has been no bigger career villain as an actor than Christopher Lee. The man has portrayed everyone from Dracula, to a Sith Lord in the awful Star Wars prequels, a Bond villain Francisco Scaramanga in The Man With The Golden Gun, and most notably of late the evil wizard Saruman in the Lord of the Rings films. And during that latter part of his career, he has rocked a very distingushed (though sometimes unkempt) salt-and-pepper beard. While many of his characters have been undeniably sinister and badass, they all ultimately get theirs, as we’re hoping the Canucks do tomorrow night in Vancouver.
