Today’s beard of the day brings us a long time staple of the Chicago punk rock scene, Tim McIlrath, formerly of such seminal acts as Killing Tree and Baxter, but he’s also the front man of a band you may have heard of, Rise Against. Most noted for his politically charged lyrics, barking vocals, and cathartic screams, McIlrath also has sported an impeccable beard for some time now. How about this for a Monday morning wake up call?
