Morning Bag Skate: 10-1-18

The Chicago Blackhawks will have a few days off before beginning their regular season Thursday in Ottawa.

In QMJHL, goaltender Alexis Gravel improved to 4-0 with a 32-save performance for the Halifax Mooseheads in a 4-2 victory over Moncton. Defenseman Jake Ryczek had five shots for Halifax.
