Morning Bag Skate: Blackhawks snap 3-game skid with win over Oilers

Jeff Glass made 42 saves in his NHL debut, and Patrick Kane scored 50 seconds into overtime to give the Chicago Blackhawks a 4-3 win against the Edmonton Oilers on Friday at Rogers Place.

Ryan Hartman, Alex DeBrincat and Jordan Oesterle scored in regulation for the Blackhawks (18-14-5), who ended a three-game losing streak. Chicago visits Calgary on Sunday night.

In World Juniors action, Chicago prospect Artur Kayumov had a goal and an assist in Russia’s 5-2 victory over Belarus on Friday. Kayumov is tied with St. Louis prospect Klim Kostin for the tournament lead in scoring with both players registering three goals and two assists in three games. Russia will conclude group play against Sweden on Sunday.
