Morning Bag Skate: Blackhawks visit Sabres for Saturday matinee

The Chicago Blackhawks visit the Buffalo Sabres for the first half of a back-to-back in a Saturday matinee at KeyBank Center. Chicago hosts St. Louis on Sunday.

In women’s college hockey, Savannah Harmon (Downers Grove) and Clarkson defeated Ohio State and Grace Zarzecki (Chicago) 1-0 in overtime to advance to their second straight championship game. The Golden Knights will face Colgate and Bailey Larson (Belvidere) after the Raiders outlasted national power Wisconsin with  Mikaela Gardner (Plainfield) and Caitlin Schneider (Glenview) 4-3 in double overtime. The title game will be at 2 p.m. Sunday on Big Ten Network.

The Blackhawks sled hockey team trio of Kevin McKee (Chicago), Josh Misiewicz (La Grange)  and Brody Roybal (Northlake) will play for the U.S. in the gold-medal game against Canada at 10 p.m. Central time Saturday in South Korea. The game will air live on NBCSN.
