Morning Bag Skate: Crawford, Hawks blank Wild 2-0
Our daily look at Blackhawks news and the happenings around the hockey world.
For the second game in a row, the Blackhawks shut out their opponents, as they voided the Wild 2-0 Saturday night. Corey Crawford turned in a stellar performance and saved 59 shots en route to the victory. Artem Anisimov netted his fourth consecutive goal in Sunday’s game, and Alex DeBrincat put away his second empty-net goal in as many games to push the Hawks to 7-5-2.
Coach Quenneville’s squad won’t have much time to recoup, as they are set to take on the Canadiens tonight at 6:00 CST p.m. in Chicago.
