Morning Bag Skate: Former Blackhawks goaltender Scott Darling says farewell to Chicago

Former Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Scott Darling waited until the time was right to say his goodbye to Chicago.

Darling didn’t hold anything back in his lengthy, personal Players’ Tribune article, as he shared his struggles with social anxiety and alcoholism during his younger years. He also recounted shirting from team-to-team in the minors before becoming the first Chicagoland native to win a Stanley Cup with the Hawks in 2015.
