Morning Bag Skate: J.F. Berube gets first win with Blackhawks

J.F. Berube made an NHL career-high 42 saves for his first win of the season in the Chicago Blackhawks’ 3-1 victory against the San Jose Sharks on Friday night at United Center. The Hawks play the second half of a back-to-back at 6 p.m. today agains the Blue Jackets in Columbus.

In the Olympics, Canada (Rene Bourque, Andrew Ebbett, Rob Klinkhammer) will face the Czech Republic (Jiri Sekac) for bronze while Germany (Christian Ehroff) meet the Olympic Athletes from Russia in the gold-medal game. Both medal games will be Saturday on NBC Sports Network, with the bronze-medal game at 6:10 a.m. and the gold at 9:10 p.m.
