Morning Bag Skate: Marcus Kruger reportedly heading to Hurricanes

Marcus Kruger is reportedly heading to the Carolina Hurricanes after being traded from the Chicago Blackhawks to the Vegas Golden Knights. If Kruger does get flipped to the Hurricanes, he’ll join former Blackhawks defenseman Trevor van Riemsdyk as players Vegas has sent to Carolina. Kruger would also join Klas Dahlbeck, Scott Darling, Joakim Nordstrom and Teuvo Teravainen as ex-Hawks players with the Hurricanes.
