Morning Bag Skate: Michigan's Sam Piazza had 'cool experience' playing at Blackhawks' prospect camp

Our daily look at Blackhawks news and the happenings around the hockey world.

Michigan junior defenseman Sam Piazza was one of a handful of invitees to the Chicago Blackhawks prospects camp, which was held last week. Piazza, a Darien, Ill. native, said he had a "cool experience" at the camp, but when it came time to say something to coach Joel Quenneville, he was a bit lost for words.

"I left the locker room and I walked right by Joel Quenneville and I was surprised to see him close up," Piazza told MGoBlue.com. "That was the first time I'd seen him in person, so I just said hello. That was something I'll remember for a while, and it was pretty cool to see him."
