After it was revealed that former Blackhawks goaltender Scott Darling had been traded to the Carolina Hurricanes, Darling made the media rounds describing his thoughts regarding his trade and his feelings for Chicago.

In Hawks prospect news, Matthew Highmore had an assist in Saint John’s win in Game 2 of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s President Cup Final on Saturday. Nathan Noel was held scoreless for the Sea Dogs, who took a 2-0 series lead. Game 3 is Tuesday.

Alex DeBrincat and the Erie Otters, who have a 1-0 lead, play Game 2 of the Ontario Hockey League Championship Series against Mississauga on Sunday.
