A stellar performance from Corey Crawford and a timely shootout goal from Patrick Kane pulled the Blackhawks through yesterday despite an overall lackluster effort. If they'd lost, the hand-wringing and accusations would be louder, and the win doesn't of course negate the mistakes or the hot garbage third period, but luck, skill, or somebody is getting those two points this year.
