NHL Draft 2015: Start time, TV coverage, online streaming and more

The 2015 NHL Draft is set to begin in Sunrise, Fla., with the first round on Friday night. Many of the game’s top young players, such as Connor McDavid, Jack Eichel and Noah Hanifin, will be on hand to hear their names announced, and it’s likely we’ll see some trades as well.

The Chicago Blackhawks don’t have their top two draft picks this year after trades for Antoine Vermette and Kimmo Timonen, respectively, but own a second-round compensation pick for losing Kevin Hayes and could add additional pieces by trading Patrick Sharp, Bryan Bickell and others.

If the Hawks don’t trade into the first round, they’ll have to wait until Saturday to make their first selection. After Round 1 on Friday night, Rounds 2-7 will be Saturday afternoon.
