The Hawks will end the preseason the same way they will start the regular season, with a home game versus the Caps.

Tonight is the final dress rehearsal before it starts for real on Tuesday night. With the rosters trimmed down quite a bit, tonight's game will feature most of the Blackhawks' regulars with a couple of exceptions. Michal Handzus and Marian Hossa will both sit tonight despite both skating with the team this morning. Corey Crawford who was expected to start, will be sidelined with "stiffness in his lower body." <insert boner joke here> Antti Raanta has been recalled from Rockford and will back up Nikolai Khabibulin.
