Previous Game Recap:
We continued our strong start to the 2013 season last weekend with another solid turnout with about 18 people showing up last weekend. The white team won the first game easily, pounding the red 5-1. After the first game the commissioner approved a trade sending himself to the white team and Tim the drunk to the red team. Unfortunately, this tactic didn’t seem to improve the red teams play and went on to lose the second game 5-3. Tim did help boost the scoring of the red team but the red team could not shut down the high powered white team offense. After the second romping, teams were jumbled and alliances were broken. The third game was the turnaround for the red team, after listening to a recording of Herb Brooks pre-gold medal game speech. Most of the players stuck around for a fourth game which the red team continued to draw inspiration and tied games at 2-2 with a 5-2 victory.

Game Start time: 10:00 a.m. (CST) WE ARE PUSHING TO ACTUALLY START PLAYING AT 10:00 AM THIS WEEK SO PLEASE TRY TO ARRIVE ABOUT 15 MINUTES BEFORE SO WE CAN FIGURE OUT TEAMS AND GOALIES.
Required equipment: Inline skates, hockey stick, hockey gloves, skill/sobriety optional
