Scott Darling has a new mask, and it’s awesome

New seasons are the time for new beginnings. While Corey Crawford is busy with the World Cup of Hockey, Scott Darling has just one focus: the Chicago Blackhawks.
We are officially one month away from the Hawks’ season opener, and there’s no doubt Darling has been getting ready for it:
Hopefully, he’ll be getting all the kinks out of his game over this month.
That’s all Darling has to work on, though. Because no matter what, you know he’s going to look good stopping pucks throughout the season. Case in point: his brand new mask for the year.
Is there anything better a Blackhawks goaltender could ever put on his helmet? I submit to you that no, no there is not. Darling has reached peak Blackhawks mask, and we thank him for it.
