Blackhawks vs. Lightning, Stanley Cup Final Game 3: How to watch online, time and more
Who will be in goal for the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 3?
The turnaround for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final might be shorter than their previous break, but the Chicago Blackhawks will have the luxury of the comforts of home as they try to remedy whatever went wrong for them in Game 2. The Tampa Bay Lightning, however, face a big question mark in goal as they hit the road for the 8 p.m. ET puck drop in Chicago on Monday night.
Chicago returns home on Monday for the first time in the Final, fresh off a 4-3 loss in Tampa Bay that evened the series at 1-1. The Blackhawks let a lead or tie slip away from them twice in the game, an ironic twist considering that method was exactly how they won Game 1.
Playing in the United Center has been a boon for Chicago in the postseason, as the Blackhawks are a robust 7-1 in their own building. They also score more than any other team at home, while giving up the second-fewest home goals among teams who played six or more games at home.
For their part, the Lightning are even more stingy on the road. Tampa Bay has the best goals against ratio on the road this postseason, having given up just 16 goals in 12 games. They also score at a brisk clip away too, trailing only the Blackhawks with 28 goals scored.
