Vegas leads series 2-1
Florida escaped Game 3 with an overtime victory at home, picking up its first win of the series in a game that Vegas was on the verge of winning – and taking a commanding 3-0 series lead in the process – before a Matthew Tkachuk goal late in regulation forced overtime. Carter Verhaeghe scored the winner, and the Panthers are very much alive in this series now. Another win on Saturday night could make things even more interesting, but a Vegas victory would send this series back west with the Golden Knights owning a 3-1 series lead.
Seems like a pivotal game. But it’s the Stanley Cup Final, so aren’t they all?
