Elimination games are on the slate this week as the first round of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs could start having winners advance and losers go home over the next handful of days.
Out west, all four series are tied at two games apiece, with Game 5s up next in each of the four series. To the east, Toronto, Washington and Carolina have the chance to eliminate, respectively, Ottawa, Montreal and New Jersey with 3-1 series leads apiece. The Battle of Florida is the only series lagging behind, with the Panthers currently owning a 2-1 series lead over the Lightning and Game 4 kicking off the week’s action on Monday night.
