Since taking over the reigns here at Second City Hockey my inbox has been getting jammed with “special offers.” Most of them are from people just looking for a plug of their website but every once in awhile and offer comes up that is pure gold. A couple of weeks ago the fine folks at Random House offered my a copy of The Year of the Chicago Blackhawks : Celebrating the 2013 Stanley Cup Champions to look over and review. I have to tell you book is a fantastic keepsake for any Hawks fan!
The officially licensed book is 144 pages of full color pictures and great information. It includes Blackhawks history and complete player stats for both the 2013 regular season and the playoffs. Each member the Stanley Cup wining team has their own bio page as well. The best part of the book is the complete summary of each and every Hawks post season game. This book will be great to look back on years from now a relive some tremendous memories.
Random House was also kind enough to offer a copy of the book to give out to one of SCH’s avid readers.
