Watch: Blackhawks’ Patrick Kane scores incredible backhanded goal

Patrick Kane scored his 24th goal of the season in a way only he could Monday night at the United Center.

The superstar winger took a pass from Artem Anisimov near the blue line, dragged it between his own legs then roofted a backhander at the goal line that bounced off Flames goaltender David Rittch’s left shoulder and into the net to tie the game 1-1 in the first period.

After scoring the goal, Kane looked directly at his father, Pat, and the rest of his family that were in attendance.

Chicago defenseman Erik Gustafsson also picked up an assist on Kane’s goal for his sixth straight game with a helper. The duo has combined for 10 goals in the last 14-plus games.
