Watch: Patrick Kane scores his 3rd regular-season hat trick
The reigning Hart Trophy winner now has 23 goals this season.
Chicago Blackhawks star winger Patrick Kane scored his third regular-season hat trick in a 6-3 win over the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday at United Center.
Kane’s three-goal effort gives Chicago back-to-back games with a hat trick as captain Jonathan Toews lit the lamp three times Tuesday at Minnesota.
The reigning Hart Trophy winner opened his goal scoring spree in the first period. With a 2-1 Chicago lead, Kane threaded the nettle with a shot from the left circle past Arizona goaltender Mike Smith’s short side.

Kane had some help from Brent Seabrook for his second goal. Seabrook dished a pass from the defensive end to Kane, who pulled up and looked to pass to Tanner Kero but decided to shoot a wrister five-hole past Smith.

Kane capped the hat trick with another wrister, this time from the from the top of the right circle.
