WATCH: This incredible Graham Knott goal

Graham Knott is not on the Chicago Blackhawks. Not this year; then again, the 19-year-old was only just drafted in 2015; it’s a little early for most players from that draft class to be making it.

Knott, drafted 54th overall in 2015, was the Blackhawks’ first pick that year. They clearly believe in him, as he earned himself a contract out of camp.

And then Knott went ahead and did this to justify that belief:

Wow wow wow, that’s an awesome solo effort, turning the defender inside out en route to the net. And shorthanded, no less!

That goal came in what ended up being a 4-3 loss for Knott and the Ice Dogs, but that was definitely highlight reel worthy. Knott was named the third star of the game, so everyone present clearly agreed: that was a really, really cool goal by the hopeful Hawk.

Knott has two goals and six points through four games to start off his season with Niagara. He’s currently the team’s leading scorer.
