Second game of the road trip, and the second game of a back-to-back for the Blackhawks, after falling to Columbus last night, 4-2.
The ‘Hawks are going to need to come out with a lot more energy then they did last night, and create more scoring chances, which should be easier against a team that doesn’t play the trap. The Hawks last played the Predators on November 4th, which was a 5-2 loss at the United Center.
The Predators have had a couple of days off since they last played (a loss in Columbus on Monday), so they’ll probably have a bit of an advantage, but the Blackhawks could really use a win in this one before heading to Detroit on Saturday.
