The 2015 NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament starts Friday afternoon with Jack Eichel and the Boston University Terriers dropping the puck against Yale University in the first semifinal of the Northeast Regional at the Verzion Wireless Arena.
Seven Chicago Blackhawks prospects will compete in the tournament, including four on the first day: North Dakota’s freshman forward Nick Schmaltz, sophomore forward Luke Johnson and senior defenseman Nick Mattson as well as Yale sophomore forward John Hayden.
The game, like three of the four games on the day, will be broadcasted on ESPNU.
