The Chicago Blackhawks will open the Western Conference Semifinals of 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Minnesota Wild at 8:30 p.m. Friday night in Chicago at the United Center, the league announced Tuesday.
Chicago will play Games 1 and 2 at home, then head north to Xcel Energy Center for Games 3 and 4, which will be Tuesday, May 5 and Thursday, May 7. If necessary, Game 5 will be played May 9 in Chicago, Game 6 on May 11 in Minnesota and Game 7 on May 13 in Chicago, with times to be determined.
In five meetings this season, the Hawks won the first three but dropped the last two with Devan Dubnyk in net. All five games ended in regulation.
