2018 Stanley Cup playoffs: April 18 open thread

There are four games on the schedule for Wednesday, including the San Jose Sharks going for a sweep of the Anaheim Ducks.

Anaheim will try to avoid becoming the second team from Southern California to be swept in first round after the Los Angeles Kings were swept by the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday.

The Philadelphia Flyers, New Jersey Devils and Colorado Avalanche are all seeking series-tying wins in Game 4.

The Flyers and Penguins have traded lopsided wins in their series, with Pittsburgh taking a 5-1 victory in Game 3. Philadelphia center Sean Couturier is a game-time decision after suffering an injury during Tuesday’s practice.

Cory Schneider is back between the pipes for the Devils, who try to even the series 2-2 against the Tampa Bay Lightning after dropping the first two games. Colorado will try to do the same against the Nashville Predators at Pepsi Center, where they’ve been one of the best teams at home.

Here’s the schedule for Wednesday’s four games:
