2019 Stanley Cup playoffs: Western Conference Final Game 3 open thread

This feels familiar for the Sharks.

San Jose visits the Blues for Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday with some deja vu. In all three of their playoff series this year, the Sharks won Game 1 but dropped Game 2.

In the first round against the Golden Knights, the Sharks fell behind 3-1 before winning three consecutive games. The next round saw San Jose trade wins with the Avalanche in which the Sharks won every odd-numbered game to take the series on home ice once again at the SAP Center.

San Jose forward Logan Couture leads the playoffs in goals (13) and points (19) and defenseman Brent Burns is third in points (15). Sharks winger Tomas Hertl and St. Louis winger Jaden Schwartz are tied for second in goals (nine).

The Sharks are 2-3 on the road in this year’s playoffs. On the other side of things, the Blues are 3-4 at home.

Wednesday’s schedule

Game 3: Sharks at Blues, 7 p.m. (NBCSN), Tied 1-1
