2019 Stanley Cup playoffs: April 19 open thread

There are only two games on the schedule for Friday.

The Maple Leafs and Bruins return to TD Garden in Boston with the series tied after each team alternated wins. Boston tied the series with a 6-4 win in Game 4 on Wednesday at Toronto. The Bruins might get a boost in their lineup with center Sean Kuraly being a game-time decision. He’s been out since March 21 due to a fracture in his hand.

The Avalanche will attempt to douse the Flames in Game 5. Colorado has won three straight games — including Games 2 and 4 in overtime — to take a 3-1 lead and is trying to advance to the second round for the first time since 2008, when it defeated Minnesota in six games.

Friday’s schedule

Game 5: Maple Leafs at Bruins, 6 p.m. (NBCSN), Tied 2-2

Game 5: Avalanche at Flames, 9 p.m. (NBCSN), COL 3-1
