There will be two Game 7s on the schedule for Tuesday.
For a second straight season, the Bruins and Maple Leafs will go the distance in the first round. The Bruins won 7-4 last season behind four third-period goals in Boston. This year’s game will also be played at TD Garden, but unlike last year it’s the Bruins this year that are coming off a Game 6 win in Toronto.
The Golden Knights will play their first Game 7 in franchise history when they visit the Sharks. San Jose is 6-4 in Game 7s, with its latest being a 6-3 road victory over the Kings in the first round in 2016. The Sharks went on to advance to the Stanley Cup Final that spring.
