2019 Stanley Cup playoffs: Eastern Conference Final Game 4 open thread

The Bruins are one win away from the Stanley Cup Final.

Boston will go for a four-game sweep of the Hurricanes when they play Game 4 at PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Bruins have won six straight games and handed Carolina its first home loss of the playoffs Tuesday in Game 3.

If the Bruins do win, it’ll be their first Cup Final appearance since 2013 when they fell to the Blackhawks in six games. People forget that.

The Hurricanes have battled back from elimination before in this year’s playoffs. Carolina won two elimination games against the reigning Stanley Cup champion Capitals in the first round. But they’ll need four straight against Boston.

Carolina will try to become the fifth team in NHL history to rally from a 3-0 series deficit.
